6 TROUBLE SHOOTING
The Tridekon Pro Grain Extractor uses a series of augers to gather, raise and discharge grain from a stor-
age bag into a truck. It is a simple and reliable system that requires minimal maintenance.
In the following section, we have listed many of the problems, causes and solutions to the problems that
you may encounter.
If you encounter a problem that is diffcult to solve, even after having read through this trouble shooting
section, please call your local Tridekon dealer or distributor. Before you call, please have this Operator's
Manual and the serial number from your machine ready.
PROBLEM

Augers will not run.
Not turned on.
Engage PTO clutch.
Failed PTO clutch.
Replace PTO clutch on tractor.
Shear bolt failed.
Replace shear bolt.
Reduce load on machine to
prevent shear bolt failures.
Machine doesn't move.
Tractor hydraulics off.
Place tractor hydraulics in
detent.
Machine hydraulics off.
Place machine hydraulics in
detent.
Bag tearing.
Slow bag entry speed.
Increase wheel drive pressure.
Grain caked or frozen.
Break up grain lumps.
Low unloading capacity.
Slow operating speed.
Increase PTO speed by
increasing tractor engine RPM.
Grain caked or frozen.
Break up grain lumps.
Machine shakes.
Feeding too fast.
Slow oil fow rate to rollers and
drive wheels.
Material comes out of access door. Feeding too fast
