4.2 MACHINE COMPONENTS
The Tridekon Pro Grain Extractor is a
machine designed to empty or remove
the material from inside a large plastic
storage bag. It consists of a series of
interconnected augers for breaking up
and gathering the material. The material
is conveyed to the center of the frame
where it is lifted to the pivoting discharge
auger. All augers are powered by the
tractor PTO.
Pressurized oil from the tractor provides
hydraulic power for the discharge swing,
frame movement and bag roll up.
The Extractor gathers the plastic of the
bag and pulls the machine into and
through it as it loads the material.
Distributing and gathering augers on
the rear move the material into the dis-
charge. Rollers gather the plastic bag
during operation. A guide and bag cutter
are located at the back of the frame to
guide and cut the bag while operating.
